RF - Gold Needle
This treatment uses fine needles to create micro-wounds, or channels, in the skin. This triggers the production of capillaries, elastin, and collagen. It’s also called skin needling or collagen induction therapy.
The procedure also uses radio-frequency waves, it’s called radio-frequency micro-needling. The needle releases radio-frequency into the channels, causing additional damage. This enhances the effects of standard micro-needling.
The skin that grows back is thicker and smoother. This can target:
-
Fine lines
-
Stretch marks
-
Appearance of large pores
-
Acne scars
-
Scars from injury or surgery
-
Hyper-pigmentation
-
Loose, sagging skin
-
Cellulite
During the procedure:
Generally, here’s what you can expect:
-
A therapist cleans your skin with alcohol to prevent any infection possibilities
-
They apply a topical anaesthetic to the treatment area about thirty minutes before the procedure
-
The anaesthetic numbs the area so you won’t feel pain
-
The micro-needling device makes tiny wounds in the skin. Simultaneously, the tip of the needle releases radio-frequency waves into the wounds
-
The procedure takes 10 to 20 minutes. The exact duration depends on the individual's condition. A growth solution will be applied to support cell regeneration, and lastly a soothing solution will be used to minimise any discomfort
